The present offering, which replaces Indian Tobacco on the broadcast, has a decided interpenetration of the upper and lower BPM ranges and employs beat-matching on all the tracks ... as for the selections, the original 1998 set list has picked up a number of newer additions, including the track Forgotten Dreams contributed by Jaz at Karma Recordings in the UK, demonstrating once again the short distance from Asian rhythms to flat out drum-n-bass.

You'll also hear from Talvin Singh, Transglobal Underground (remixing and being remixed), Joi, some irresistable dance-makers from Roughcut and Najma, Banco de Gaia and TJ Rehmi. Respect to the Six Degrees label for bringing so much world beat variety to the mix.

At the request of the Karma Recordings artist J.5.8 who contributed the Forgotten Dreams track on this set, I pulled the mix and replaced his track with a new version ... the first one suffered some WinZip compression problems that funked-up the sound quality in the file he provided to me ... the new version is a vast improvement. And so, this mix is being reuploaded and reinstated on the playlist ... giving you a new chance to hear and enjoy a bit of Asian Fusion
