Well, here it is my first submission to Madame Fly's home!
All of the tracks included in this mix are lifted from recently released "Best of Chillout" type CD's, hence the Commercial Name!!
Included in this straight forward beat on beat mix are the likes of Angel City, Lost Witness, DJ Fidelity, Beat Knowledge and IMonster.
With a running time of about 55 minutes I hope you can stick around and let the music mess with your mind......

Finally got to hear this one While the opening tracks weren't terribly inspiring, I found the selections got better and better as the hour wore on ... before I got to the songs I was familiar with already -- the last four or five -- I heard some fine new music: Simon Burnett's Love from Rio, Love Shy from Kristine Blond and Come Home from Lil' Devious really stood out ... hmmm, I shall have to investigate these commercial chill collections more closely As usual, Wildr offers many ways to make the mix flow ... most transitions were silky smooth and morphed invisibly from one song into the next, but he also offers up one or two bolder moves (e.g., Happy into Breathe) ... on the computer speakers these could be a little bumpy but I know from my own attempts at stuff like this that it can sound quite different under headphones ... if I can manage it, on my next chance to listen, I'll take that option. Loved the look at chill from Wildr's more lively musical sensibility ... keep me in mind for another, please

Thanks for your valuable comments Mme! quote: on the computer speakers these could be a little bumpy but I know from my own attempts at stuff like this that it can sound quite different under headphones ...
I'm spoilt with my PC Speakers (What else would you expect from someone whose better half is called Gadget Girl !!), in that I've got an excellent Creative soundcard channeling through to a Philips Nxt 5.1 speaker syatem. Gwenerally, what I hear on this sounds the same in my car on the CD I burn of my mixes - however listening back to some of these on my kids PC, it just doesn't sound the same! This is my first attempt at mixing a genre I'm not used to, but when the mood strikes me I love to listen to! - ergo the songs may not be as diverse and musically "valid" as the majority of tunage airing here(I'm thiking of the extremely eurocentric opening commercial tunes here.) - However I like this mix, a couple of the transitions run far longer than I usually would, and as you pointed out I tried a couple of different things - not 100% sure if they worked, but not a trainwreck either, so all in all I'm happy with my first "toe in the chilly water". Rook - coming from you, I consider this high praise indeed! Anyway, opinions vary on my "skills", but I feel that they are improving with every mix. Indeed, every Mix I do teaches me something new about the software and how to push it's boundaries. I have got several mixes to upload over the next few weeks right across the board - and covering most of the MM Stations...... So, Watch this space.

Totally agree with you, not only about you and your skills, but me too ... I often look back at mixes I did a year or two ago and rework them, assuming I can do much better justice to the music now than I did the first time around. As for the selections on this set of yours, I think they are generally excellent examples of the Chill repetoire ... cushiony and sweet, the perfect antidote to the daily stress-ball. To me, "chill" and "downtempo" are basically the light and the dark faces of the same sort of musical vibe ... and this set hits the chill spot. Looking forward to another one someday soon
