Yeah, I know I've never submitted Volumes 1 and 2, but they kinda sucked. You see, my wife has a friend at work who likes "chillout", but doesn't go for some of the deeper and higher energy forms of electronic music.

So, I've made him some discs of the stuff I've got, and this is the first one I've felt was somewhat worthy of submission to MMRadio.

I did use Moby's "Porcelain", which I know is a bit overdone, but at this point, I'm not going to go back and mess with it. :P

I'm particularly happy with the last 1/3.

Looks like it "might" be good... the reason I say that??? I can't hear it .....I have the volume all the way up...this is the only mix on MMR that I can't hear for some reason ....and this is the second time I catch this mix without hearing it

The whole mix....it seems like it's completely muted (and it's annoyed me coz' I saw the names of the tracks playing and I wanted to listen )

I listened to the mix on my PC to make sure there's no problems. I've also burned it to CD for Jeff, and it plays fine.

I've re-uploaded the mix. Hopefully, it can replace the mix that's currently in the rotation.

I guess TRR just needs his ears syringed ?

Hey... I heard that....but no seriously... for some reason, everytime that mix came on there was no sound....nothing...the mixes before and after came out just fine....that's why I had to ask "what's wrong here"....

FS, what did you do to correct this? I got to listen in today (I can now listen at work, when I'm not on the phone...) and I concur ... there is no sound. The same seemed to be true of your "Neon" mix I heard on Guest Mix Picks (I think it was.)

When I clicked the link for BC's lo-fi stream, it was a mix of Phreaq's and it was audible, so it seems to be an issue of the FS mix.

My question about what you did is this: did you upload a new version that needs to get onto the stream to replace the faulty one? Did you email me about this?

Help me catch up on this issue ... thanks

Yeah well, but that's not all! I'm listening to Liquidity now and at 13+ mins into the mix, the sound is totally gargly and strange ... people, this is NOT some plug-in madness that I did on purpose, this is simply strange ...

Can the sound I hear be being fractured here where it's incoming, or is this what everyone is hearing?

BTW, it isn't consistent ... there will be passages that sound totally funky, then the rest will be just fine....

I simply re-uploaded the "Downtempo" mix. . I've been able to listen to it on my PC and as a burnt CD just fine.

Madame, are you saying that the "Downtempo" and the "Neon" mixes have no volume? What about the "Blindsided" and other mixes on the radio?

FS, I sent you a PM about this -- did you get a look at that yet?

I could hear Neon, but thought the Kelis tune sounded strange (but I'm not familiar with it.)

I haven't heard Blindsided yet. I think if lots of mixes were affected, there would be more posting about it by now ...

I just tried both of these mixes on a test stream and both had sound. At least the first couple of minutes of the mix had sound.

I also just rebooted the mmradio server. Please let me know if the problems continue.

Aaah! That's where the problem occurred! It had moved, replaced, and deleted some mixes on the UMS shedule! Exactly what time did you do this? So I can match it with the time the problem occured! Cause there was a big jump to the top.

Jeff, all ... I'm listening to this one today from work, and the sound problem is fixed.
