I hear it's getting cold up north ... so my Thanksgiving gift to all starts out steamy and keeps on applying the heat throughout ... hot heat, sweet heat, this all indie-set delivers the warm side of chillout music

Kicking off the set is Jefferson's Feeling the Sun featuring Sarah-Jane ... you can feel the icy drink sweat in your hand and the hot sand burn your bare toes when Sarah-Jane starts to purr ...

Also ready to warm you are tracks from Vienna's Sub City, Mexico's B.N. Loco, Germany's Tokyo Dawn artists Saine, Henrik Schwartz and The Tape vs. RQM, Canada's Afternoons in Stereo and K, Norway's Marius Melleby, France's Shine and from Kansas City, Monta ... and a couple more besides.

Actually it isn't quite ALL indie ... there's that Bliss track, Kissing ... and may I just say, if this track doesn't make you want to be kissing someone, I suggest a trip to your local emergency room, just for a check on your vital signs....

This week marked the passing of the legendary Link Wray, whose guitar chords were responsible for a million American kids taking up music ... you can hear an echo of his influence in the Sub City track Parasight ... truly, Link created a sound heard around the world. In the track JimE from Vancouver artist K, you'll hear some phase shifting and maybe you'll remember the first time you heard Hendrix's Electric Ladyland album, the one that added the concept of phase shifting to our vocabulary.
