Possibly you could describe what you have done already, so we don't waste time telling you stuff you have already tried....
What are you using to record your voice? Have you read about overlays and know how to use them? I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |

I didn't realize there were such big differences between Studio 6 and Pro 6, but Studio 6 most definitely doesn't have a "voice over button" ... someone who is familiar with Pro 6 will have to step up and offer advice.

as i understand it, the talk over button within p6 does nothing but lower the volume so that your voice can be heard when using a seperate mic through, say, a mixer...

DJ Doe,
plur's right: If you have your mic and pc with Mixmeister connected to a mixer, pressing the talk-over button attenuates (lowers) the volume of the music. The amount of attenuation is user definable. I believe the default attenuation level is 12dB. It's a nice feature to have. I use it to lower the music when making announcement. Of course you can always lower the music volume by using the slider on your mixer, but it's nice to use the talk-over button while you're behind your laptop. It's wise to test it ahead of time at the venue that you're playing at so you can get a feel for it. Live, Love, and Dance, DJ_Edgy |

I think when "performing" though...doesn't it allow the mic to be used OVER the program itself? or would that not be a working point anyways...
