Hello!
There may be a simple answer to this (I hope) but it's really tickin me off. I'm trying to mix some tunes using beatmixing but the beats just won't match up. I've adjusted sprockets, dragged the timeline around to match up the spikes etc etc but regardless of me changing the BPM's to be the same, the tunes beats may match up for 2 or 3 bars but then go out of synch. It's driving me up the wall. I've mixed tunes successfully before without this problem. Help! |

When you say you've adjusted the sprockets, do you mean you've worked with the inner sprockets (the dotted black lines) without success? Or are you just changing the red sprocket lengths?
I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |

Er, didn't know you could change the dotted black lines about! So if the dotted black sprockets show different lengths am I going to have a super-hard time matching beats on long intro's/outro's?
How do I change them so they're the same? |

the dotted sprockets can be adjusted to match the one beats of each of the tracks needed to be mixed. Where you see the ONE beat of a track, the greyed out block, followed by the 3 consecutive blocks, then back to the one (within beatmixing mode), you can adjust EACH line inside of those sprockets to complete the "lining up" of your tracks. I'll try to get some screen shots this evening so I can explain better.

Thanks for that.
I think I understand the dotted lines being moved, but now it seems that after the outro the incoming track doubles its' bpm for no apparent reason! This all seems a very complicated way of matching two tunes' beats! Not looking forward to mixing with having to go through each tune and move a load of dotted lines all over the place. Especially on an 8 minute track! Either that, or I'm not understanding!! |

OK. Just watched a track playing ans the inner sprockets are lined up perfectly with the beats at the start. After about 12 bars the beat starts to get ahead of the sprockets until halfway through it 1.5 beats ahead!
What's with that?! Surely I won't have to tooth-comb through all the tracks to get the first beat of the bar on each sprocket??????? |

know that it will not be needed ALL the time, and you may NOT have to do EVERY sprocket.
