Hello everybody!
my name is Paul, i am 25 years old and i live in Greece (Athens). I Dee Jay professionally for about six-seven years. I know MixMeister since it's first editions, so i am familiar with the application. I now started using MixMeister Pro 6 into my Laptop*. I always add the Basic Compression Plug-in to the Main output (for normalizing the sound level). No problems, great & clean sound, great steady level job (tested with a Decibel Meter, and with my ears of curse)! Here is the "problem". Always, after the first four(4) hours of live performing, the main output Vu meter is not responding real-time. Starts go slow. No problem, i continue my set normally!!! [when i start previewing, the main output VU meter, is responding correctly, but when i stop previewing it goes wrong (slow) again] I repeat, there is no difference to the sound. It remains perfect! i beatmix perfectly, and MixMeister Pro 6 still works just fine, etc. I only wonder, what goes wrong with that (the Main output VU Meter i mean)? All night long, i had opened a cpu meter and a RAM meter, provided by Windows vista, and i was checking them. No problem, the CPU was working at the lowest level 3-5%, and the RAM was always stuck at 35%, from the time i started live performing until i end my DJ set. My laptop runs only MixMeister. No other applications are installed except from Windows Vista's defaults applications. Any ideas? Thanks for your time, i am looking forward for your precious answers. *TOSHIBA Satellite L40-18Y ...Intel Dual Core T2370 ...Microsoft® Windows® Vista ...Ram Memory 2,048 (1,024+1,024)MB ...Hard Disc 200 GB ...1st Audio Card, on Board ...2nd Audio Card, CREATIVE SOUND BLASTER X-FI XTREME AUDIO ΝΟΤΕΒΟΟΚ (Express Card™ slot), (Drivers Updated!)
