hello guys.
I have a big anoying trouble, look: I made a 3 partiotion hard disk, and installed windows XP in one new partition and of course mixmeister, so, i put back my mixes on the reinstalled mixmeiser software, but how you must imagine, all the partition changed their letters, and of course the ubication where the songs were located, and mixmesiter every time that I open one of this mixes ask me for the new location of the file, well. this is a big lost time for me to search one by one and of course is anoying (mentiomimg the mixes contains 60 or more songs echa one, and i have my music in "organized" folders and subs). My question is: Thank youin advance guys |

Use the FIND function and search on the term "excel" ... using Excel, you can repair this problem by exporting your Library catalog and then re-importing the fixed version.

Another solution, which I use regularly is this:
If you have the same number of data drives as previously, then you can reassign the default XP drove letters to match your previous setup. Lets say that your setup used to look like this: Drive C: Winxp Drive F: Data Drive 1 Drive G: Data Drive 2 It now looks like this: Drive C: Winxp Drive H: Data Drive 2 Drive J: Data Drive 1 You can
You may have to change a drive to a dummy (spare) letter if you need to change to oinbe already in use. Hope this helps Gaz |
