I wish MixMeister would provide an update with a fix for the search feature, you know the one... What ever song was previewed in any particular line of the catalog section will still play if you do another search and click on a new song in the exact same line.

So if you search for 'Drop It Like Its Hot' and it appears in the first line of the catalog search, whatever appears on that line with your next search will play in your headphones. So if you search next for 'Too Close' and it appears in the same line as 'DILIH', you will hear DILIH even though it says 'Too Close'.

Ughhhh!!!

Also, I hope they make the color of the 'already played tracks' RED instead of BLUE. It is hard to tell the diff when you are working live against the regular grey color.

Come on MixMeister, I know you're reading this! They did send me a nice MixMeister T-shirt as promised! Thanks guys!!!

I agree with Steve on the color issue. Just did an outdoor wedding last Sunday. I couldn't tell grey from light blue! Then when I looked harder, I could sort of tell. Then I panicked and forgot, "Does blue mean 'already played' or was it grey?"

Still no update... Come on guys!
Also, please add the little 'tweak' indicator to the playlist column in addition to my other requests. Thanks.

Johnthedj,

I can appreciate your love for Fusion, but mmp6 is still a lean mean, running machine. If these wishes we've made were implemented, I think that mmp6 would still be an awesome product line between Studio and Fusion. I guess Mixmeister's marketing people don't feel that way.

What am I saying?!! mmp6 is a great product step between Studio and Fusion even if they don't grant us our wish list!!! Smile

I could be mis-remembering what I've read, but I think the MixMeister team has said that now that version 6 is no longer for sale, they would not be implementing any wish list items.

I believe that if a v.6 bug is reported, then a bug fix would be made available ... at least, this makes sense inasmuch as Aaron has counselled some folks that they might be better off staying with version 6 instead of moving to the Fusion-level programs, so I assume that the company would continue to offer support for v.6 bug issues.

As Edgy points out, v.6 is still a really excellent product that many in the community will continue to find totally suitable for their needs.

It's unfortunate that mmp6 isn't available anymore. If you graph the prices of Mixmeister's current products on Excel, you will see that there is a serious void in price point between Studio and Fusion.

I have 2 DJ buds who don't want to buy Fusion, but want a little more horse power than what Studio offers.

We would settle for the "critical bug fixes" that Aaron mentioned in the above linked thread.
