Hey Guys,

be at a loss with exporting my mix to a MP3-File. My mix plays well within the MM application. After exporting to a MP3 I have some whole track long gaps. But just a few, not all.

I figured out, that the first missing track was linked with a wrong configured VST-Instrument. After removing the vst-instrument from the track, the track appears after downsampling to a mix.

I created a 36 minutes long mix. After 10 Mintes, there is no sound. the last song plays but there comes no next song. But I have a 36 Minutes long MP3- File with silence.

I've tried amlost everything: removing all VST-Instruments, downsamling to MP3 and WAVE, Restating the computer. There is no success...

The next step is, to remove track by track until the mix continues after 10 minutes.

Gosh, what a crap!

It's also worth noting that exporting to ANY format sometimes results in a totally silent file, even though the file may be a file size the would indicate it had content ...

Coincidentally, this happened to me this morning. I exported a rough mix to wma and wound up with a 95mb file. I loaded it on my Karma to play on the way to work ... but found out when I was just about to drive away that it was a silent file.

Never one to worry about getting to work on time when there's a music issue to resolve, I shut off the car, went back in the house and did what I usually do when this happens: Shut down MM and reboot the computer; reopen MM, re-export the file ... and Presto! there's the sound.

I'm not enough of a nerd to really know, but I don't actually think this is a MM issue, I think it's more like a computer-resources issue ... it ususally happens to me when I've been using the computer intensively and exporting is the last operation in a long line. The fix is always the same, though: reboot.

We have a german phrase "Reboot tut gut!" - maybe someone will translate that for you.

I've rebootet my computer a couple of times, there is no light at the end of the tunnel.

36 Minutes Mix, 70 MB MP3-File - silence after 10 minutes until the end of the mix. Is anyone out there struggeling with the same issue?
