Hello all,
I just upgraded to fusion. but pro6 used to tell me if I played a song from the library or not. does fusion do this as an option? thanks in advance, -deebeezee |

Hi deebeezee, and welcome to the forums
Right-click over the column headings in the Libray and make sure the "PLAYLIST" option is ticked. You'll see ">>" characters for every track in the library that is in your playlist. Hope that helps, but ask again if not. Neb. |

I'm excited to see this forum. should be good info in here. I've been using Pro6 for about year now, just switched to Fusion. How do you guys like fusion? and why? whats good that pro6 doesn't have. |

I just love it! I had started with Express5 about three years ago (I believe), and went through Studio6 to Studio7. The most prominent additional features of Fusion level software are the Song Slicer and the Timeline Beatgrid. I prefer the Fusion approach to mixing because I find it much easier to organise and edit my Timeline. Furthermore, you can place Tempo Markers at any point of the mix which provides additional freedom for your creativity. Then there's a (expandable) set of predefined custom Transitions for easy mixing, and the possibility to mix Turntable Style. Also, Pro6 only supported DirectX effects whereas you can use VST effects now (and with a little extra effort also DirectX effects). I'm sure that I forgot something, and that other members will expand the above enumeration... free your ears and your mind will follow... |
