Hi Folks,
Very weird problem over here that I'd love some help on. I am working on a Mac Powerbook 2.4 gHZ Intel Core 2 Duo with 4GB RAM and over 100GB of hard drive space available. Also working with OS X (10.4.11) and have purposely not upgraded to Leopard. For two months, Mixmeister Studio 7.2.2 has been flawless. Suddenly, today, I am now getting periodic pops and clicks during playback of mixes and this had never happened before. The only thing I can think of is that I downloaded a bunch of Apple software updates today and I wonder if one of them has created a bug with Mixmeister. I have tried adjusting the responsiveness/reliability dial, shutting down other programs, etc. but no luck. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks in advance, Alex |

If nothing else has changed, then this would be a strong indication of a subsystem problem, and it could likely be due to the updates you're reporting here. Again, make sure you're not doing anything differently, aside from the updates, and, if so, please report this problem to technical support.
The only other thing I could think of that would cause this is a subsystem problem related to hardware issues, and I can't imagine that you'd have misbehaving hardware in a Macbook this new. Technical support: http://www.mixmeister.com/support_morehelp.html Tim, Co-host of Jack2It MMRadio |

Hi - I never got a response from tech support, but I went ahead and upgraded my OSX to Leopard, then downloaded Mixmeister 7.2.4. The problem is now gone.
Thanks, Alex |
