I want to make an exact copy of Mixmeister on my main laptop to a backup laptop. What files would I need to copy in order to preserve the exact configuration (plot changes, playlists etc)? I've tried just copying the .mmp files. That doesn't work. It creates new .mmp files and doesn't show the plot changes as I've created them on the main laptop. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey,
I realize this thread is old, but just in case someone else comes across it: what worked for me was to copy all music files, all playlists, and then all files from the "Archive" folder on the source PC to the corresponding folder on the target laptop (see Tools / Options / Plot Files tab on each computer for exact Archive folder location). Then at Tools / Options / Catalog tab, I checked "Automatically Update" and browsed to the folder on the laptop holding the music files. It takes a few minutes to update if you have a lot of files. I dragged a bunch of tracks over onto the playlist afterward, including some tracks I had had to do a lot of playing with, and all sprocket settings look okay.
Peace.
