I am new to MixMaster and after I installed it it gave me some choices. I chose to import a directory and subdirectories of music files. It said it needed to prepare each song by measuring beats per minutes and create a plot. It did all this after a few minutes. I did a few previews and such, but never altered any .MP3 file. Later on, I noticed that ALL of my .MP3 files had been updated to the current date and time. This concerns me as it means that something was altered in all my .MP3 files in the original directories that were imported. What does MixMaster alter in the original .MP3 files after import/processing??? Should I be concerned?? Thanks.

From previous post-

"MixMeister 4 and Pro 4 edit the ID3 tags with any changes you make to the catalog. The applications will also write the BPM into the ID3 tag. You can switch off this option in the Tools Options dialog. Click on the Catalog tab and uncheck "update music files with catalog settings."
