Hey everyone. Been on this site many time before just never had any reason to post before, hoping someone can help me.
I've been using Mixmeister Fusion for about 4 years and I love it. I demo'd a lot of programs before finding Mixmeister. Use it professionally at least three days a week. When I bought my last laptop all I was looking for was a reliable machine to use at gigs. I wanted 2gb RAM, A dual core processor and at least 3 usb ports. for about year now I've been using the same machine to video dj. everything works pretty great. Occasionally video would hang but all I would have to do is press Alt+Enter twice and everything would be fine. It would usually hang up when my RAM got overtaxed so I decided to upgrade my RAM. I bought 4gb of memory 2x2gb to replace my 2x1gb. My 32bit version of vista won't support 4gb so I only replaced 1 module so now I have 3gb of RAM. And now the video shakes on the output monitor, but not on the video preview screen. So when I video dj I have to downgrade my Ram back to 2gb and everything works fine but I would like to keep 3gb for obvious performance reasons. Sorry for rambling. I use MMF+V 7.3.2 |

sorry dave, stopped using fusion + video shortly after receiving it so i can't really give you an answer on this. i've since jumped back on my trusty fusion (- video) 7.3.2.
going out on a limb here...
might this have something to do with mixed brand or incorrect memory? not an expert on this, just tossing it out there. Fusion 7.3.2 So this is what a sinking ship looks like |
