New Year & new rules to the TT - This time each partner takes the others latest & greatest mix and creates a reinterpretation using the original tracks. Reordering, reediting, FX flair and bringing in new overlays to manifest a familiar but different mix. Should be a peach of a TT for you Studio 7 and Fusion folks! Big Grin

Oooo, now that's intriguing ... did you envision that the tagteamers would pick the mix they want to have a go at, or that the original DJs would offer the mix of their choice out for the tag team process?

I'd had in mind the each DJ offers their latest or greatest mix for this TT (I guess that most MM users dont have a huge catalog of MMS7 material). I'd hope there'd be some dialog first to select a mix each other was comfortable with. I should of said like-like substuition is allowed (different mixes of the same song) and at a push re-recordings of an orginal!

Probably a few hours listening to the original before stating the reinterpretation etc.

It's possible that a house mix could turn into trance or downtempo. Using MMS7 arsenal of features & the creativity of the DJ - the end point could be very, very different. Smile

I'm up for something!!!

I don't have much new to offer, but would love to re-interpret something. I do have some older mixes I'm quite happy with that I could offer up.

actually I did this a few years back with one of mfly's ever so beautiful mixes. it was a great exercise

Has anyone seen my brain today? (^_^)
