I think she was just pumping you for more information, don't think she was signing up to start tag teaming. Just from what I was reading. Then again I think you should post up some more information about what you would like to do with this.

yeah I just wondered who was going to be the first person to work with straight-up jazz, rather than the beats-added remix versions most of us use ...

Well, I'm already half-way through a mix with pure jazz tunes - though it isn't really a mix just yet. More like a aequence of jazz tracks I've come to love...

djjd: I'd definitely be up for the challenge of trying a real mix, just pm me when you feel ready to start the mix.

right on. pm you in a couple of weeks. it does seem that working transitions for a jazz mix sounds hard enough. maybe, as a microcosm tag, an individual song could be reworked...with a number of those, i'd bet that mix would flow better than those piecemeal verve compo's.

ps...any good with the slicer?

Working with the Slicer is not as hard as it seemsVader... however, slicing jazz tunes might be challenging particluarly with jazz tunes because of the constant tempo adjustment that affect the playback sound. I'm sure though that we'll find a way... Big Grin

This could turn into a great opportunity for a video tutorial on non-dance material, also ... Smile
