Hi, MadameFly. The Software Updates Page lists 7.3 as the latest version for both Fusion and Studio.
I haven't been able to find any other info (including an announcement) on it yet, although the new version is available for download.
I have downloaded Fusion 7.3 but am waiting to install until I know more about it...

Oh, thanks for that Todd ... interestingly, when I click the Help>Check for Updates link within the program, it takes me to a Support/Updates page that only references 7.2.2 for Studio (which is what I already have) ... that may be why I didn't track the other (newer?) offering ...

I'll follow your lead and download the 7.3 and await some further info ...

So Fusion + Video is now 2 releases behind Fusion.

I can't help but wonder if support for video is being dropped from Fusion altogether.

I feel your pain Bradleys.

$399.99 is a nice price to pay for some software that is out of date.

I guess i should of purchased the lesser program.

This is confusing information from MM.

This page says that Fusion is now V7.3, but if I run my copy of Fusion (currently V7.2.2) click of "Help" ... "Check For Updates" I get taken to this page which says that Version 7.2.2 is now available. I've got 7.2.2, so where are the details about what's new with 7.3?
Dunno

Can someone at MM please sort this out Smile

Thanks

Neb.

I'd suggest calling 1.888.800.0681; you can also PM either mm_Carlos or mm_Sandor and see what they can do to help out.

It's good to remember that an in-version update (e.g. a number like 7.3.2 instead of 7.4 or 8.0) is likely to be a fix for some specific problem -- one that not everyone may be having, and so therefore you may not see any difference in the program "big picture". It seems unlikely to be an update that is going to be addressing a whole raft of bug or wish list items.

Depends on what your perception of the "big picture" is. For example, with 7.2.2 one feature added was the separate volume controls for main + preview channels. Very useful, as is other "minor" features added such as adding V/T/M/B markers where they now get placed at the current level rather than defaulting to 0dB. These "minor" features might be irrelevent to some users, but very useful to others. I'm just saying that it would be helpful if MM got their website up to date and published what the fixes/new features (no matter how small). Might also save them a number of phone calls + emails Wink

I totally agree, the website needs to keep up with events on the ground ...

I appreciate that some in-version updates will bring useful improvements that will be immediately apparent to all ... but I was responding to this comment from DJ Sterryo, early in the thread:

Sometimes a company has to handle a whole raft of calls and emails in order to see the value in staying on top of the details ... I would not hesitate to call if, like D-MIXX, I was not happy ... bottom line: this issue can't be fixed by other users here in the forum, it has to be fixed by the company.

Hey, that's the spirit ... it really IS an amazing program ... possibly that's why we all expect the best from Tech Support as well.

And I need to amend my post, because when I got back from dinner this evening, my update email was in my inbox ... downloading the update now.
Cheers

I downloaded 7.3.3 and it seemed to work good. Not many differences at all...At 1st. I was messing around tonight and playing a few tracks and went to use the pitch bender with izotope on...Messed up big time. All kinds of cracks and pops in the audio. It was jumping the track all over the place. So i deleted and redownloaded...again this happend. Tried for a 3rd time and still no good. I called tech support and talked to Carl..He was really helpful. He didnt understand why it would crack and pop only with izotope on and not with it off. So I asked for a link for 7.2 and got it within 2 minutes. I do not know if its just my PC..although i never have had one problem with mixmeister on it ever. I would see if anyone else has this problem before you Download it to play a gig right away. Glad I tried it out before this weekend..That would have been a big problem.

Had MM Fusion 7.3.1 (or we're at 7.3.3 already?) for MAc and installed.Still don't see any mayor news on it but it seems stable on normal use...anyway got a gig too next weekend and i am a bit worried if someone else has found strange behaviour...sure a strange behaviour is that nobody announced a new release both on the site and the forums...
So please may someone from support or sales tell us something soon?

Thanks.
