Recently, Translucent has had an overwhelming amount of set submissions. Although this is a good thing, it's also a bad thing. As mentioned before, the normal rotation life of a Translucent set is 6 weeks which allows for a decent amount airplay and feedback time when the schedule is at a reasonable level. Unfortunately, when the schedule becomes 'overloaded', the sets are not given proper airtime to reach the listeners.
Currently there are 19 sets in rotation, 9 of which are not due to drop off for another 4 weeks. So, we're not asking for you not to upload sets... we're simply asking for your patience in getting them into rotation. There are 3 sets that we are aware of that are on the upload server but have yet to make it to the schedule... DJ I.V.I - Kinetic Energy DJ Peacock - TranceContinental Vol 2 DJ Rick E. - Classic Trance mix Part 1 ...these will be added to the schedule as soon as there is some breathing room. Now don't get discouraged. Very shortly beatmixing.com will be announcing some exciting news that will assist in relieving some of the overload here at Translucent. Ryan and I have previously discussed putting in place some submission rules... but I think with the upcoming 'news' we will hold off on that for now. But, let's try to keep rotation sets to a maximum of 3 per DJ at any given time (tag sets do not count). Our goal is not to be on a 24+ hour rotation, and for each set to air at least once a day at a different time each day. Thanks again for all the DJ and listener support here at Translucent. plur and DnC |

Perhaps I have really made a mistake. I have listen to the vinyl - DJ´s and have thought that I also want to play live like them someday. I have a hard job and this was only a dream from me. I know this is perhaps a utopia, but it was and is a dream. But I was blind in my dream. So I want to apologize to you now!! I don´t want to say something bad about beatmixing.com, No! At mixupload.com I always tell about my friends here, and I´m very proud about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For example I have told in the forum that my friends here are: Ryan, Kevin, Jez, Gayle, Tom (Moto), Nebulus, Marko, Robert, Arnold (Mr Cucho) and many more! My heart breaks when you are cross with me now! Jez has also a side there now, and I´m very proud about my friend there too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will always love beatmixing.com. You see I´m a human, and I was blind in my dream. I have made a mistake, I´m very sorry, please forgive me. Are we yet friends |

P.S.:
Since march I work with Jez at a rave - set for translucent! Headbangin´ set! "The Real Summer Dance House Mix 2008! was uploaded also two weeks to Jack2it before I have loaded it up to mixupload.com! I also work at new progressive club mix for translucent (harddance + hardhouse) like it is my prefered style! You see I´m always here in my mind and live, but I don´t understand how DJ´s can send three sets... it takes a long time for a good set... |

I would never worry yourself about how long others take to throw together a set. And you are right, really good sets do take a long time to construct, however, some DJ's might not have the patience to produce those type of mixes, or just maybe they've been working all year on several sets at once??? You just never know. NO MORE COFFEE FOR YOU |
