Trance is such a great genre for expressing emotions. So here we go with a new set just for the holidays - and, since it's a holiday set it ought to include a love story in the mix. A few years ago I put together a set titled 'Love Lost Love Found'. About mid summer this year I came across "Love Lost Love Found", listened to it and decided to put togeher a second version. There any number of story lines to go with the set - make one up with a close friend as the set progresses. But basically there is a breakup, introspection, realization that love can return and a celebration when it does. I titled the set, "Waking Up". What I like about the set: The variety of vocal trance tracks that came together for the story line and the beautitul trance progressions through out the set. Best track in the set for me: "Close Your Eyes, feat Tiff Lacey" although several others are right up there with "Close Your Eyes...", like Markus Schulz with "Perfect...." which I think nails this set shut. The vocal tracks are powerful so you are in for a good trip. For those who like this set - a follow on is already under development for 2010. Summer65

I said these were powerful vocal trance tracks, so be prepared. I Ran So Far Away - I turn the vol up this one - there is so much going on - the layering of vocal and music lines is intricate and well done. Some vocal samples in this are so well worked they are almost indistinguishable from the music lines. This is one of the things for me that make this track so good - the crative use of the vocal lines that add depth and range to the track. You mentioned taking a couple songs to get into the set.... I understand that and I could have shortened the first track a bit but I was keeping with my story line there. I need to look for a couple tracks to replace those for club play. Thanks for the comments. More great stuff in the works including an upgraded web page in the works.

Into the Dark: Great beat, progressions and vocal lines. Love the bass line that keeps this track moving from start to finish. Yes, Ferry Corsten has some really good tracks out there. Thanks for the comments. summer65

OK - 2010 sets coming together. Check my web page 'In the Works' tab for a first look of what's coming. Right now I'm looking at a four set group that will be the background for a dark story line. If things work well I hope to end with a fifth set which will be a 2010 version of 'Waking Up'. Going to be hitting up DJ Eclypse for the art work. summer65
