Hi there!

There for im a beginner of this I wonder do you think its difficult to get out and play in clubs with this system (Mixmeister Control + Mixmeister Software) ?

Or do you have any information about how the club-owners reacting to this ?

Does any have any experience of working in clubs with Mixmeister ?

Ok, thanks.
But i was thinking about if its difficult to get dj-work if you have Mixmeister? How do the owners of clubs reacting? Or do you must have a pair of Pionner CDJ-1000 and a DJM-800 mixer to get job as DJ?
Does the club-owner want the dj:s plays on their own equipment or is it good to bring your own to thoose clubs that you are going to play?

Club owners where? In Finland? Or in the UK or the USA?

Club owners (like most people) tend to follow trends ... if some of the clubs in the area you are interested in are already using hiring digital DJs, then other clubs will follow along.

I got something for your mind, your body and your soul.

Here in Soest, specific in one of our discos here, the "Megaparc Soest", the DJ´s works with all:
They work with automatic programms, mix with them mp3´s. They mix songs together with DJ drives, and sometimes one DJ even mixes house - tracks together with two record players. He has many records in two DJ - bags (You know some house - labels publish their tracks only on vinyl, cause they have a small pressing).

I think you can mix with everything, important is that you can do this well!
AAA... and I have seen in Megaparc even some guys with PC´s last summer. They were there for some gigs!

I think about to apply me in Megaparc Soest for a gig with my PC. But the music shall be good, and it is hard to mix live with Studio 7. I have another DJ - programm on my PC, but MM is better! Someday I buy a new PC or laptop with two sound - cards and fusion - someday! First I will live with my equipment now - the money, the money!

I think that noise level will depends on how power supply, CPU and video cards are cooled. There are plenty of silent solution for that.
Anyway that nexus case looks beautiful, just hard to fit in a portable system thought.

So what kind of "silent" components do you recommend in a rack-case ?

I'm going to jump in and say that memory requirements will be key. If you're looking to run MM at it's peak, you're going to need the RAM. I'm gonna toss up 2GB if you can afford it. 1.5GB is about as low as you want to go in these days.

Yeah, i was thinking 2 or 4 GB of RAM.

Im thinking a system like this:

Motherboard: ABIT S775 IP35 ATX DDR2 SATA2 GLAN HD 8C
CPU: INTEL Q6600 CORE2QUAD 2.4GHZ S775
RAM:4GB 800MHZ DDR2 NON-ECC CL5 DIMM
Video Card:PALIT GF 8800 GT PCI-E 512MB GDDR-3 HDMI
TFT: SM 2032BW 20'' 3000:1/2MS/1680X1050/DVI
DVD: LITEON DVDRW 20X BLACK RETAIL SATA
Harddrive:SMG T166 500GB 3.5" SATAII 7200RPM 16MB

But now im thinking also about:

Motherboard: Asus P5K
Video Card: MSI GF 8500GT PCIE 256M DDR2 HDMI SILENT
NEXUS PSU REAL SILENT 500W BLACK 3XSATA

I'm assuming even with that new controller for Fusion, I'm assuming that dual sound cards will still be needed. If you have an internal creative card, that is one thing, but when looking into an external, make sure that it is powered. If you're looking for another internal, then you should be fine as well.

Using 2 sound cardsmakes sure that you are able to gain your preview in one channel, and your performance in the other.... (if you didn't already know that)

As for specifics, I couldn't recommend one card from the other. I'm still using my SBLive! 5.1 that I purchased almost 7 years ago.
