HI,
I'm fairly new to Music Meister, and was wondering if anyone could gave me a list of file types it takes. I know it takes .wav and .wma files, but I have a CD with .cda files, and want to be able to upload it into Music Meister. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! -Tina |

Hi Tina, welcome to the Mixmeister forum
As you correctly state Mixmeister (or MM as its known around here) will use .wav and .wma files, but it also supports .mp3 files - probably the most common compressed audio format out there. The CD you have with .cda files is actually an audio CD and you wouldn't work with those files in their native .cda format, but intstead you need to transfer them to your hard drive. Windows Media Player will record a CD to .wma files, although my preference is to use CDEX (http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/ - it's free) to "rip" the tracks to .wav or .mp3 format. Hope this helps. |

where is a good place to download (legal pay site) .wma files that will work on MMEXP5?
Walmart files will not work. |

Have you had your serotonin surge today? |
Check out this thread on online music purchases.
Some services that offer .wma files are mentioned. But Express also uses mp3s which are still the easiest format to find (AFAIK.) I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |
