What happened to this feature?
If you have a hardware control knob you can get this done pretty easily.. but I used this in Pro 5 a fair amount. The next song should cue from the beginning after the fade. Anybody have any suggestions about doing this on the fly (other than turning down the volume on the mixer (which is not always handy)? |

Hello Marki,
I am guessing you are now using Fusion seeing you are posting here. If so here is an answer that may help, although there are a few ways. I will suggest the fastest and least painless: On the upper most part of your screen in the “PlayList” select “Transitions” (Simple Full. Simple Cut or Simple Cross Fade). I go with “Simple Full” most times just because I can adjust the volume to how soon or long you want the fade to last. Oh Yes, even though you use these features you still have to play with the volume settings a little while cueing because they never seem to hit it right on the money when fading. If you can follow all that… LOL! Also, you need to select the top song to use fading effects to the song you are about to go into. Geesh I hope that makes sense! All in All I like the feature after I became acquainted to it. Banter |
