i use adobe photoshop from time to time and take full advantage of my 2nd monitor by shifting various palletes (in mm's case it would be the library, the playlist and possibly the song slicer/master output window) off to one monitor while leaving the other monitor as my workspace (which be the timeline for mm). which allows for a must broader workspace.

now i know not everyone who is using mm has mulitple monitors, but for those that do i could see the use for "window breakouts" or palletes to be moved off the main screen allowing for full screen of the timeline. also having the ability to save the workspace would allow for customizable layouts whenever mm is opened.
