Bring back the append playlist feature that existed in mm6.
Sometimes when I'm mixing 2 tracks, I use as much as 4 overlays to make that killer sound. Even when I save them as tweaks, it takes time to re-load them and move them to their proper locales, time that I don't have when I'm mixing live. By using the append playlist function, I could just drop them in and spend valuable time working the mixer, lights, etc. instead of lining up tracks. |

The append playlist feature came back to Fusion some time ago. I believe it first appeared in version 7.0.2.
What version are you running? |

Never mind Aaron. I didn't realize that it was there after all.

Ok, let me edit this request...
Have the Append Playlist also include overlay tracks. Right now, it only brings in the primary tracks. I tend to use overlays a lot, so it would be a huge timesaver if we could include those. |

Resurrecting an old post to say I agree with DJPeacock. I was mixing this weekend and appended an old playlist -- but no overlays were appended! The overlays were critical to the mood I wanted to set. With some quick maneuvers, I got the overlay tracks in place just in time, but it would have been nice if they had simply appended with the other tracks...
Thanks! |

One more vote, FWIW -- both for the concept in general and, as Moto posted above, for Studio specifically, which is still without any Append functionality at all.
I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |

+ again
I have a mini-mix with a primary + an acappela overlay that I love! However, to bring this mini-mix into another set as an "append" discards the overlay. The only way is to export the mini-mix as a .MP3 or .WAV, re-import into the catalogue, muck about with the song slicer again to get everything in sync. again (yawn .. another tweak), then drop this into my new set. Tedious, or what?? |
