1. If there are only two volume markers in a intro transition of a primary strip to be mixed and the "first" (i.e. the one at the beginning of the strip) is set to -50, then the strip won't start mixing when Mix Now in Previewing is selected.
2. When I installed FL Studio/Deckadance as VST plugins (not necessarily a smart thing to do), Fusion would crash immediately on startup. Sometimes Fusion asked to send an error report, most times there was no indication why the crash occurred. I guess this is a wishlist item, but it would be useful to have more information if Fusion crashes. Have Fun. Sly |

Yes, there are a variety of troubles with the MixNow feature that have been identified, and you've now reported the 2nd problem I've seen here with respect to 3rd party VST plugins. In terms of those, you should be able to simply plug them in the program and use them. The trouble with 3rd party plugins is that whatever problems one has with them may be related to the 3rd party code and not to MM, so how can one be sure if they're going to work? We're going to see more of these issues with VST plugins as time marches on, and I've put out a wishlist call for a 3rd party VST plugin testing and certification process here.

Gosh Wally, How hard could it be to get "MixNow" to work like a DJ would really use it?
That was meant as a laugh not a question. I just wish they would look at it or at least let us know they are looking at it. Banter |
