I recently installed Mixmeister Fusion 7.2.2, and found out that all of my knobs in the main screen were missing(for effects, volume, bass,midrange,...)
(P.S: the previous version that i had was Fusion 7.03, here i could see the knobs clearly...) |

First, make sure the timeline is tall enough. The knobs will disappear if there isn't enough space for them.
After that, try switching your display settings. Specifically, change the color depth from 16-bit to 32-bit or vice versa. |

hi, thanks for the answer, but i still have the same problem, it won't go away, i made sure the time line is tall enough, changed to the max of color depth, but the thing is I can maximum set my color depth to 24-bit not higher than this..., could this be the reason why i can't see them?

Just to help if I can,
Is your “SongSlicer” to big? Best way to increase the height of your “TimeLine” would be to shrink your “SongSlicer”. I had the same problem until Aaron explained it to me that way. Another thought: Have you played with you “Skins” lately? I know when I was playing around with my “Skins” I was able to totally lose the “Volume, Bass and Treble” knobs. Let us know if this works please. Banter |

hi, thanks for trying to help, but i still have the problem...
I increased the height of my timeline that it took the whole screen, but the knobs still don't show up, i never changed the skins or something, i even don't know how to do that... I really don't know what to do anymore..., PLEASE HELP! Greetz, |

ow, i forgot to mention, not only the knobs on the left side are missing(bass, midrange, treble) ,but the one on the right side (master volume) and even those in the "Effects Rack" -window...
cause of this i can't properly add an effect to a song... => this is the main reason why i need those knobs... Greetz, |

2Pac,
Glad to see you are still alive on this issue. It dawned on me the other day that I had this same problem when I first installed MixMeister for the first time. No one could help me out because they did not understand why I was having my problem. However some of us blind people fool with our screen settings so we can see bigger letters and effects. But at the same time some programs do not have the correct visual effect that it should. One of those is MixMeister. I am not saying this is the problem you are having but it is worth a shot. On your desktop right click in a free area (not on an icon). Then choose Properties, then Settings. From there you want to set your Screen Resolution to the max or move it all the way to “More”. While you are there in the Color Quality drop down the box and choose the highest setting you have. Hopefully it is at least 32bit. Try that and get back to me and let me know if that helped at all. hi, thx again for the reply...(Banter)
I have tried everything you told me, but unfortunatly, the problem keeps showing up... I changed to all screen resolutions, color quality my pc has, but still no great results... But I personally think it's a problem of my videocard/monitor. Cause i can max. change the color quality up to 24bit not higher... anyway i'm thinking this might be the reason of my problem. But you also can't expect too much if you have a 6 year old computer... I think my only solution is to uninstall MM Fusion 7.2.2 and get back to 7.03, that's it... Greetz |

OH, no doubt it is your computer. I am not sure of the minimum specs required but 24bit seems to be on the border I believe 32bit is suggested. Also your Screen Resolution should be 1024x768. Not sure if it will work lower. You can do a search for the specs through BeatMixing.com to see if there is a post, which I am sure I have read in the past.
If you are in the United States you might want to check out craigslist.com to see if anyone is selling a used (newer) computer in your area only. I say only because it is important to check out with your own eyes before buying anything from craigslist.com I have purchased items this way in the past but only sight on seen! I have also rejected items as well. Good Luck to you. Banter |

I'm having the same problem and I daresay that my PC is on the higher end with regard to specs. It just happened with the latest update. I've got a 22" wide panel monitor running at 1680X1020 w/ 32bit color. I've messed around with my resolutions and other display properties to no avail. I have a GForce 8800GTS w/ the latest drivers.
I'm going to try to re-install it. TheBedroomDJ.com Rodney's MySpace My website only sucks a little bit now, check it out. Now with Shoutcast streaming audio!! |

Okay, I went to the installation file I downloaded and installed it over the same version, and my knobs are back.
I was wondering if it had to do with the new blue skin I'm using, but it's not. I reset the blue skin and the knobs are still there. All is good. TheBedroomDJ.com Rodney's MySpace My website only sucks a little bit now, check it out. Now with Shoutcast streaming audio!! |

FWIW, I'm running Studio 7.2.2 on a system including a 19" monitor, resolution set to 1280 X 1024 / 32bit color, and the knobs will display ....
I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |

With multiple instances of this occurring, this is looking more and more like some sort of weird, random bug that presents during the install process.

I wonder if this could be the same thing that is messing with others "Search Bar". They are both visual problems. Who know? Haven’t heard back from MM on that one yet.

The problem with getting random weird things like this reported as bugs is getting enough users reporting repeated instances so as to convince the developers that there is actually a bug here, and that it is not some sort of problem related to something else in Windows (which, as we all know can be flaky). Then, there is the problem in pinning exactly where/when/why the behavior in occurring in use so that the devs can pinpoint where the problem lies within the code.
It's odd at this point that that two users are now reporting this, but it will be helpful if more do, keeping track of exactly when/where it began occuring so as to determine the "why" it is occuring. Then the developers will have something specific to look for. This entails anyone now or in the future who presents with this problem documenting exactly what they were doing when it first started to be a problem. Can either of you here now be more specific with details as to when this is happening/first began/etc??? In conjunction with doing what? Other applications that may be affecting the behavior? Information on display settings?? Anything that might serve to tie together all the instances with common threads? If anyone else is also having this problem, please post your instances here WITH SPECIFIC DETAILS. Ideally, the developers need to be able to replicate the problem under specific, identifiable circumstances Thanks! Tim, Co-host of Jack2It MMRadio |

All my knobs are missing following an upgrade to MM 7.3.2. I have tried all of the above but to no avail. i.e. changing screen resolution and reinstalling the upgrade software.
Have sent an email to tech support. |

Mine have disappeared also. They just disappeared yesterday. I have tried everything suggested. I have not installed any apps or updates since installing MMM 7.2.2.
