Looks as if there is a little glitch here.

When placing “Tempo Markers” at the beginning and end of all slow songs (so I do not have to set them every time I want to play them) then do a “Quick Save”, Close the song out and then re-open and the “Tempo Markers” are either gone or moved. Directions to MixMeister Fusion say that Tempo should be saved.

Hey Banter,

I just read your post and I'm wondering ... by saying

quote:
placing "Tempo Markers" at the beginning and end of all slow songs
where exactly were you putting those Markers? Did you put the first Marker before the Intro Anchor and the last Markers after the Outro Anchor? Because if that was so, it might just be that (at least) the Intro Tempo Marker is deleted by the program due to the Transition setting you chose in the Options ... after all, what would be the sense of Manual Tempo control/Automatic Tempo control/standardized Beatmix Transitions with a Tempo Marker right at the beginning of the Track??? So, we may in fact not be talking about a bug...

Did you try and add any of the modified tracks (i) either as first song of a Playlist, or (ii) in the middle of a Playlist with Automatic Simple or Automatic No Transition? If so, were the Tempo Markers also gone?

Looking at this question, I'm wondering again: Why do you add Tempo Markers at the beginning and end of slow tracks instead of just changing the Master BPM of that track in the Tag window? In my view, the latter option would be the appropriate way to achieve what you're looking for, right? Or am I missing something?

Moto,

Yes I think you are quite right Moto. Every thing Moto has mentioned here can be done as he has described! So please take respect in his knowledge of MixMeister as I do!

After Madame and I discussed this in our original post: http://community.beatmixing.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/2291063351/m/8871099222
I was able to figure out that I could get the mix or transition to happen by selecting “Simple Full” Simple Cut” or “Simple Crossfade from the drop-down box under the “Transition” column located in the “PlayList”. Picking one of those options works for what I am trying to do however, if I was going to do this every time to a slow song (whether going into another slow song or jump to a dance tune) it could also make sense to save the “TempoMarkers” so you would not have to fool with them every time you play that song.

Either way can be considered correct, I just feel that the option I was looking for better suites my needs and should be Enabled so I and others could have that choice. The choice is there, so it should work.

All my slow tunes are set up by BPM and I Tapped out every one of them, However even though I am a Beat-Mixing DJ, I kind of jump around when it comes to slow songs, so I figure, “why not lock the “TempoMarkers” down to lessen the possibility of forgetting and then having your mix sound like it is racing to get to the next song".

Ya Know What I Mean?
