We have just released an update to Fusion, Studio, and Fusion + Video. The main improvement is to the sound quality when using the song slicer.
You can get the new version through our website: http://www.mixmeister.com/support_updates.html You can also use the "Check for Updates" feature in the help menu. Thank you for your support. |

Aaron,
It looks like there are other fixes to this update. Seems as if the “SongSlicer” starts up much quicker than the last version. Could you let us know of all the updates please? Thank You very much for the Fix. Banter Theory Is Everything! |

Here are the release notes:
What's new in this release Version 7.1.1 includes an improved timeshifting algorithm for better sound quality. This may introduce a very subtle change in the way existing mixes sound. The new algorithm only affects the "automatic" slice size as set in the Adjust Track Settings window. Items fixed in version 7.1.1: * Sometimes the audio playback would have unacceptable artifacts. The problem would be most noticeable with vocals or sustained keyboard lines. You would hear "bumping" or "roughness" in the sound. * Sometimes when pasting an overlay segment, the resulting position would be slightly earlier or later than expected. Items fixed in version 7.0.8: * When previewing a track in the song slicer, you wouldn't hear the first 1-2 seconds of playback. * When the default transition has a fade out of some kind, you couldn't hear the end of the track in the song slicer. |

Thank you Aaron! Have a question regarding 7.1.1....am I imagining this or does it take an extremely long time to export a playlist to file compared to version 7.0.8?
No problem with it....just wondering if it's my computer or does it take a longer time to do this for everyone? Does sound excellent when done! Thanks once again! Jimi J |

There should not be any difference in the time needed to export. The new algorithms don't require much more in the way of CPU.
If others are seeing the same thing, please let me know. |

FWIW, I've just installed Studio 7.1.1.0 and I opened the Adulthood Redux mix, checked it briefly for problems (found one user error -- I had to move Izotope Vinyl into the proper folder to regain use of that effect) and then exported to WMA at 128 kbps (file size approx. 73mb) -- the export process moved along at what I feel is the normal speed ...
I notice there are some posts elsewhere about difficulty with uploading, so I will try that next, and post my results in that thread.... I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |

So glad for the upgrade! I am having two issues with the effects. I can no longer open / use the CamelSpace - Camel Audio or iZotope OzoneMP - iZotope, Inc. effects. Also when I drag an effect into the timeline area, either the song or the whole area it turns green but when I release the effect it goes black but it does shows the effect below. If I go back to the timeline area later and want to check the effects when I click on the whole area it no longer lights up green, it remains black, but it will show the effect(s) below. Is it just me or has something changed?
Thanks! MJBofPowerSurge |

I still notice the bad quality for the Turnstyle mode. I was wondering in the next release, if you you can also improve the music quality for Turntable style also. Thanks!
