no options drop down to allow playlist transition.
also in VIEW unchecking effects rack and show performed tracks does not execute....have to manually disengage effects but all my performed tracks are shown , how do i get rid of them....

Does this mean you were able to install? You just dropped another post 3 mins ago that said you couldn't install ... if that's no longer an issue, it would be good to mention that so ppl don't spend time responding to a problem you don't any longer have....

in my eagerness to post , i was so focused that i did not notice the drop down and stupidly placed the first post in STUDIO instead of FUSION.
Yes i have installed version 7.2.5 on Mac but noticed there was a further update , so i downloaded it with the view of installing easily as in my pre mac days. But alas no dmg extension , just a whole lot of folders and zip files which mean nothing to a mac newbie.

Now, as for the update including files which are unusable for a Mac, that is something that can only be fixed by the Tech Support folks (links on this page.)

Talk to them also about the other things you mention in the first post in this thread ... have you uninstalled/reinstalled yet to see if that clears up the problems? That's often one of the first suggestions for Windows users, but I really don't know the drill for Mac users....
