Does Mismeister pro 5 have a tag that shows listener count ( how many listeners are tuned into the webcast) or is there a software i can download that does this. I know the shoutcast server for winamp does this but it does not work for mixmeister. Someone please help, email me.sf003k@mail.rochester.edu

sfejokwu....please refrain from making multiple needless posts. Please post your question in the relevant thread topic and patiently await a response. Making multiple posts just adds confusion, and clutters up the forum unnecessarily.Thank You!

Or better yet (in case if you think we may not read a post--usually new forum members have trouble understanding how a forum works), I would like to assure you that we will see your new post wherever you may post it, and if it's misplaced (usually new members make this err a few times) one of the MODs will gladly move it to the appropriate section--that's what they do. Cheers! Smile

First sfejokwu I owe you an apology... after re-reading my post I realized that I came off kind of "cold" and impersonal. It was never my intention to make you feel alienated or unwelcome, and for that I apologize.

As for the lack of response to your original question....1) I did't know the answer to that (and I didn't want to tell you "I don't think so" without knowing for sure)...and 2) You have to be a little patient when it comes to recieving responses to some questions...this isn't a real-time chat room, plus the people who might have the answer for you may not be on the boards during the time you make these post. All I can say is, have faith that your questions will be answered at some point (soon).

Last but not least....Welcome to the forum Cool.

I've looked at your web site and noticed that it seems to be a typical HTML site w/ audio imbedded into it.

Would not a traditional hit counter meet your needs?

Also, in what format are you "streaming" the music? Why are only WMP or Real Player the only two that can be used?

My website only sucks a little bit now, check it out. Now with Shoutcast streaming audio!!

i need real time stats. When i used to broadcast through shoutcast, i could click the icon on my deskstop and it will show how many listeners are streaming my station at that particular time. It also shows me when a listener connects and disconnects. Unfortunately, shoutcast can only be used with WinAmp. I am trying to see if there is something similar for mixmeister. I noticed that on the mmradio, it shows how many listeners. I will like to know how this was done. But in regards to your post, i am looking for real time streaming stats. Any help?
