Hey guys!

I wonder if there is a way to webcast to a server straight from Mixmeister. I am a DJ on a local online radio station and I want to webcast to it without the need to use Winamp's shoutcast. Can anyone tell me if there is such a way and instruct me on how to achieve it?

I use Mixmeister Fusion

I have even a better question, I can not find webcasting in Studio 7 anywhere in the program. Can anyone direct me to where it is? I even went to the search engine in Studio 7 for information and guidance and webcasting is nowhere to be found!

Webcasting is not currently included in the Fusion-level version of Studio (though it *was* available in v.6 Studio) -- I'm not exactly sure why, though ... especially since, on the Comparison page that exists to help you evaluate the various MM products, webcasting in Studio gets a checkmark in the chart ...

Hopefully, it will be available at some point

I upgraded to Studio 7 only to find out it doesn't have webcasting capabilites. There's a miss print in MM advertisement. However, I have a question. Is the fusion version too aggressive with beat matching? The reason why I ask, I run a little old webcasting show. Were beat matching is not required all the time. I know this is long winded but the show consist of slow, fast tracks along with radio talk, which do not require beat matching or sinking for the matter. I do use it from time to time. Is the Fusion version meant for what I do? I hadn't had a problem in the past with the 3.1 version. Sorry for the long explanation.

You can use Studio for what you describe by changing the transition type to "no transition" which means that your tracks will just drop onto the timeline one after the other ... if you want to make a transition for two particular tracks, you can choose one of the many types from the Transitions drop-down (a column in the Playlist) or you can just move the anchor points manually so the tracks overlap to meet your needs.

There is info about all this in the Help file of the program.
