I still can't get my MixMeister broadcast to work.
When I start broadcasting, Mixmeister tells me I am Webcasting on mms://mycomputer:7007 However, since I am on wireless and can see when my wireless is uploading data, it clearly is not uploading any data during my broadcast. Should it be?? My webcast works when I access it locally on my own computer, but not when I try to access it through the internet using my ip address, ###.###.###.###:7007. I have made sure my router enables data to be sent through 7007, and I am not behind any firewalls. Any ideas on why my webcast isn't working? Thanks so much, stoneface |

i use wireless router too
first. use static ip instead of dhcp. then configure Pat/Nat, port mapping from your broadcasting machine to internet. you can do port forwarding too if you want to. i had to do that b/c not everyone have access to port 7007 like people accesing it from work. you might need to get dynamic dns b/c you can't access your machine name from internet. search the site on how to setup dns i have setup mixmeister to broadcast in all computer network enviroment you can think off. so ask me question or catch me on yahoo -densma |
