Does your ISP service offer higher bandwidth? That is often available, esp. for businesses ... but for a higher price, naturally

The other option is to rent some bandwidth from a streaming server host and use Shoutcast to relay to it.
There are plenty of services out there, although they tend to be more expensive than equivalent web-hosting packages due to the sustained bandwidth requirements. Try googling for "Shoutcast Relay Server" or "Shoutcast Stream Hosting" or similar. I should also mention that MM doesn't support shoutcast streaming directly, however there is an old post here that tells you how to use Shoutcast with MM. |

If you choose to go the Shoutcast route, do look around extensively for the best deal.
Some offers are really rediculous with their pricing. TheBedroomDJ.com Rodney's MySpace My website only sucks a little bit now, check it out. Now with Shoutcast streaming audio!! |
